About Fernanda

I would love to work along with my students to create a study plan just for them. Not everyone learns using the same methods, therefore I will try my best to provide my students with multiple options and ideas on how to learn and study more effectively.

I enjoy learning more about my students and listening to their goals. I love hearing students say they can finally read for longer periods of time, or seeing improvement in their writing. It is a process in which not only is my student learning but so am I.

I am a bilingual student, and I have met multiple people who wish to learn English or just want to become better English students. I am the oldest of four siblings so helping them with homework and motivating them is something I am comfortable with. This awakened a desire in my heart to help others just like my college professors helped me.

I am a sophomore English college student obtaining my degree at SAGU University. I have taken multiple courses such as the study and exposition of the Bible (and other works), how to write and read like a professor, how to read poetry, etc.

About the lesson

Getting to know my students is my first priority. I want to know what their strengths and struggles are. This allows me to invest time in the areas they most need help with and strengthen what they already know. I will work with the student with a customized curriculum.

I have worked with elementary, and middle school students.
