I enjoy watching students grow and learn in their understanding of English.
I first decide what area the student needs the most help with. I explain and answer any questions the student may have and make sure they fully comprehend before continuing. I then provide an example, with the goal of the student being able to complete an example without assistance by the end of the session.
I am a Junior at Harding University; I have taken many English courses including AP English Literature, World Literature, English Writing Composition i and ii. I also have experience with peer review and helping classmates, along with younger elementary aged students.

I would typically like to see an example of their work to determine what level they are at and which areas can be improved, along with praising good work.
I have worked with fellow classmates at Harding University. I have also tutored students who have a different first language than English. I have also worked with Elementary aged students.
I would encourage the student to find a tutor who is willing to be patient and makes them their top priority.
I am fond of the recent rise in the community working together to help eachother during this pandemic.
