About Crystal
As a middle school teacher in the public school system, I frequently see children that would benefit from extra help outside of school. I have tutored in the past and have obviously helped students succeed in reading/writing in recent school years. I am certified in middle school English with 4 years of experience. I also hold certs in most of the social sciences. I have 3.5 years of experience teaching history and geography.
I have a passion for writing and editing, and I also care very deeply about helping studnets develop compassion and a sense of civic duty.
There's always a moment when a child finally 'gets it.' It's incredible to see someone finally accomplish and understand a new and challenging concept.
I've always wanted to be a teacher. There's wasn't a precise moment that I decide to walk down this path. It's always been within me.
I have a degree from the University of Oklahoma in Social Studies Education. I have certifications in US History/Gov't/Econ/OK History, World History/Government, and Middle-level English. I also have certificates to teach APUSH and AP World History.

Prices vary- the standard fee will be applied if the student has homework/classwork to do. If I have to develop a curriculum, there is a $5 fee per lesson. That fee will only be applied if I need to supply materials.
