About Christopher
I focus on first spending time to explain basic core concepts to students before covering specific material. I think it is extremely important to start with easy-to-understand general concepts before moving into more specific facts and strategies.
I have 3 years of professional teaching experience, starting out as a independent tutor in early 2015 and working with a number of individuals in New York City ranging from elementary kids to graduate students. Since the fall of 2015, I have been a partner and online tutor at IvyPath, an online education company that provides academic as well as specialty courses in English for Chinese students. Since March of 2017, I have been a tutor at SmartAlec.
