About Leona
Having been in school for the last twenty years, I feel as though I am more than prepared to begin passing on all that I have learned and begin my career path towards education. I am a High School graduate with an Associate of Arts, and currently, I am finishing up my Bachelor's in English with a minor in writing at UNC. This summer, I am also going through my TESL certification course to help further my abilities in teaching English as a second language. I hope to teach abroad both online and through travel once I finish my degree, and to give others the knowledge I have been privileged and gifted with.
I believe education is one of the most important things there is in this world, especially the learning of language. Communication can move mountains, and by teaching I get to feel the pride and knowledge of putting the tools into people's hands which enables them to do so.
