About Mark
Hello students! You may call me Mark or Mr. C. I'm currently enrolled in the SUNY Orange Honors Program, majoring in liberal arts of maths and science with a focus in biochemistry. I have a passion for identifying individual learning/ or memorization strengths of students. My approach is to alter the educational approach to optimize a students' full learning potential and retention of material.
I enjoy providing students one-on-one learning experience that provides tools and methods to overcome obstacles they may encounter in a crowded classroom.
SUNY Orange Honors student with 36-course credits.
Background in: English/writing, biology, chemistry, and U.S. History/government/politics.
I'm currently working on a research thesis for the SUNY Orange Honors Program that examines the United States economic systems' effects on modern slave labor markets— domestic and abroad.

The first goal is to identify students' strengths. Building a foundation based on confidence goes a long way in relaxing the brain, to enable it to function effectively. Many learning challenges begin with seeing a topic and struggling to grasp how to understand new material. Building a student's confidence by identifying their strengths will enable a student to see their potential when learning a brand new topic. We then identify students' weak areas. Finally, implement students' strengths to support and strengthen areas in which a student may struggle.
