About Kayla

I have always had a passion for writing! It just so happens that as I grew as a writer, I found such joy in helping others out with any English need they had! I love helping with the simple beginning steps of grammar all the way to college essays! I am now graduated with a degree in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship!

In high school I excelled in my literature classes and was asked to student teach for credit with a middle school teacher! As I learned shadowing the teacher I realized I had a passion to help these kids who all have outstanding potential!

I have my degree in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship!

About the lesson

I first start off with assessing the student and their needs. I try to help them gain a complete comfort with me so they can feel open to ask for help regardless of their needs! Once I assess their level I can choose the path I go down! It is all up to the students need and learning style then I can accommodate to them!

I have helped with a range of students! Elementary age all the way to High School students! I also specialize in students with Autism and other Cognitive disabilities!

As scary as asking for help can be please be honest as we are here to help!

An event I am so fond of is tutoring my brother who has Autism! I have helped him out through middle school throughout high school! He needed some help with his college essay and I helped him work through each struggle! In the end it was a huge win as he was accepted to Quinnipiac University and Southern Connecticut State University!

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Think about the aspects of English in sections! I say compartmentalize to figure out what part you need help with the most! Then just be honest! No question is wrong!
