About Violet
I have strong vocabulary and storytelling abilities, visual creativity skills, passion for women's and children's issues and demonstrated ambition and resilience. I've shown all those qualities through being published in rookie magazine's weekly reader submissions, having a photo exhibited in a gallery, attending two prestigious summer writing programs, writing and proofreading gigs, being historian of my college student government, writing for the student newspaper, being secretary of the disability advocacy club, being editor-and-chief of my high school literary magazine, co-founding a feminism club, perfoing poetry at open mics, babysitting a preteen with severe learning disabilities and working on my campus farm.
I'm a student at Mills college. I used to babysit a preteen with severe learning disabilities. I am perusing my literacy skills and my passion for women's and children's issues.
