About Elizabeth

I am a dedicated educator who believes all students can be successful learners and creates a classroom environment that is energizing, encouraging, challenging, and supportive to all students. I have over 13 years of experience teaching in Texas Public Schools and am certified in Texas to teach the following subjects: English as a Second Language, English 8th-12th grade, 4th--8th grade all subjects, Early Childhood-4th grade.

I am passionate about assisting students reach their academic goals and have demonstrated the ability to customize instruction based on individual learners' needs.

My teachers and professors had such a profoundly, positive effect on my learning experience I wanted to provide students with the same experience while sharing my love for learning.

I have 13 years of successful teaching experience in Texas public schools in grades 1st-12th grade.

About the lesson

When working with new students, it's important to build rapport and learn the student's strengths and weaknesses in the subject/or topic being studied so I can work in tandem with the student to help them accomplish their academic goals.

I have worked with students in various grades, social-economic abilities, and linguistic abilities. One of my greatest strengths in matching my teaching style with my students' learning needs and abilities.

Working in the youth services department at a city library during spring break this year is a recent fond event. Because I was serving the youth by providing fun engaging activities while promoting literacy and a love for reading and learning.
