About Ian
I recently graduated from the University of Colorado, earning my undergraduate degree in English (Literary Analysis). I have also been writing freelance articles for the better part of two decades and feel that, with my education and experience, I would be a good choice to help those looking to improve their reading and writing skills.
Undergraduate degree in English from the University of Colorado (Cum Laude). I am in the Golden Key Honors Society, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society.
I have also worked as a freelance writer for almost two decades.

I like to start by getting to know a person's knowledge level, working with them to find where we can improve skills, and having conversations about literature.
Once the skill sets are known and the student has divulged what they would like to read, we can select certain materials to improve their skills. To start, we can choose a series of small works to analyse (Hemingway's short stories, for example), and work on writing bite-sized five-hundred-word pieces, to get their style and rhythm.
Then, we can continue learning more advanced techniques.
