About Douglas
I taught and tutored students in Japan from 2002 to 2021. Most of my students were studying English, but I also tutored a bilingual student in English, Social Studies, Economics, Business, and History from 7th to 12th grades. She did very well in school, and was accepted to the college of her choice.
I've taught students from many countries, as well as native English speakers. I read at college level by 4th grade, and started proofreading for friends in high school.
I love helping students understand difficult concepts and seeing their skills and confidence grow.
