About Kaelyn
When I was first learning how to read, I was put into the lowest reading level in my class and know the hard days that come with not receiving the proper amount of attention to succeed. Because of this experience, I hated English and thought I would never become a better reader or writer. After having one teacher that supported me I began to love English and have now won state-recognized awards for my words. I wish to do the same work for my students as that teacher did for me and allow them to find confidence in their English classes.
I was an English tutor at my high school, helping mostly with essays specifically. I was very successful in AP English Literature and AP English Composition. Now, I am attending the University of Kansas.
