About Olivia

Hi there, I have Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Psychology. I am very dedicating to helping students process and understand the material before moving on. I strive for engaged and active students ready to take on writing and complex concepts they may run into in the real world. I have tutoring and coaching experience with students of various ages for the past 3 years.

BA degree in English literature and Psychology and a minor in French language. I have also worked as a coach for the past 3 years with kids of various ages, from 3-15 years old.

About the lesson

I like to get to know what type of learner the student is, as to better accommodate their needs. I like to build a comfortability and friendliness to promote full flow of engagement and interest. Being compassionate and understanding, relating to certain life experiences, helps form a better bond between the concepts and the learner.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
1. What kind of leaner are you? An auditory, visual, or hands on kind of learner?

2. Think of your hobbies or interests before sessions and then share them. As your tutor or teacher learns more about you, they may be able to relate concepts to those to help you better understand and remember the material.

Kenna

She doesn’t just explain how to do something, but allows you to figure it out for yourself so you understand it. She’s very patient with others and really helped me understand concepts that were very complicated.
