About Marya
Being young and relatable, I understand the difficulties students sometimes face in school. Over the course of my succesfull high school career, I have found new strategies for coping with these obsticales.
I most enjoy watching the students progress over time and succeed in their studies.
I am currently a freshman at Virginia Tech studying International Relations and Spanish. Throughout high school, I took multiple AP and Honors classes, including: Spanish 1-5, AP Spanish Language, AP Language and Composition, AP Literature, and Honors English 9 & 10. I was also the Managing Editor of my school yearbook, and I took three years of journalism related classes. I was a memember of Spanish National Honors Society for three years which required me to volunteer in Spanish related activities.
