About Jamie
I am passionate about literature and like to share my talents with others. I am a Secondary English Education Major at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I am graduating this May and would like to get a headstart on my teaching experiences. I am confident in my abilities to help other students reach their English academic goals.
My mother is a teacher. Watching her work growing up really inspired me.
I am a senior majoring in Secondary English Education, so I have plenty of relative coursework under my belt.

I normally use the first session with new students to get to know them. I find that it makes the student more comfortable and the overall process easier. I ask them to send me papers that they have written so that I can become familiar with their educational tendencies. This enables me to build a tutuoring plan that will be most beneficial to them.
I have worked with students on the high school level who need a little extra help. I have always worked with college freshman taking English courses.
