About Jillian
I started teaching when a friend reached out to me and said their brother was struggling to stay eligible in school because of his math grade. I started tutoring him and he became eligible to play and has remained eligible since.
I have two years of experience of tutoring. I have typically tutored math, (8th graders through 12th graders) but have some English as well. I am willing to do either. I have taken college pre calculus and statistics, as well as college English.

When first working with a new student, I like to get to know them as a person right away. This helps me think of methods of teaching that might be best for them. After trying different teaching methods, I can decide what works best.
I have worked with any and outgoing students, and I was able to make the sessions work for both. I have also worked with unmotivated students, and I believe I did a good job helping them stay focused on studies and find motivation.
Find someone you can bond with but will also help you get the work done.
I am very fond of golf. This sport teaches you to be very mentally tough, and shows how rewarding hard work can be.
