About Halie
I enjoy helping others find passion in reading and being working through the processes of becoming strong readers and writers!
I have always enjoyed helping others. I decided to become an English teacher because I enjoy the subject, and feel I am able to help others enjoy it as well!
I have been a cadet teacher/tutor for elementary school students. Also, I have worked with two different families as an E-learning coach and teacher through the pandemic. Additionally, I am in my final year of studying secondary English education at Ball State University. I will be a certified English teacher for grades 5-12 once graduated.

Typically, I will spend a day getting to know a student. I think each student has their own ways to learn best, and this is helpful in the tutoring process! I will then use that information to create lessons, session activities, and projects that will build onto skills the student(s) already have!
