About Janet
Every child can learn - you just have to find the key to unlock their potential. I love watching students overcome learning obsticles and experience success. Seeing the pride in their eyes when they accomplish goals is so rewarding.
I was a public school teacher for 20 years. I am certified in all subjects for kindergarden through 6th grade and as a Master Reading Teacher through 12th grade. Most of my experience is working with students in 3rd through 5th grades in the reading and language arts subjects and remedial math. I have taught all levels in these grades from remedial to gifted.
I have also helped many students with college admission and scholarship essays. Some students find writing about themselves difficult or awkward. I will not write for them, but guide them through the process.
I wanted a career that really made a difference in the world!
