About McKenna
I worked as a T.A. my senior year of high school for the advanced placement track classrooms. I have experience working one-on-one with students who are struggling to grasp topics in English as well as experience working with ages 9-17.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in English Literature and Language, graduated with a cumulative 3.4 GPA.
I received a 5 on both Advanced Placement English exams.
As a result of my academic success, I have held status as a member of the National Honor Society for Secondary Schools, Phi Theta Kappa (Honor Society for Two-Year Academic Institutions), and Sigma Kappa Delta (English Honors society).
I am passionate about uplifting others and helping them succeed! I am a straightforward person who can offer a direct approach to learning. Well equipped with study skills, time management techniques, and methods of handling stress ready to share!
I currently work in the Student Success Department at Muskegon Community College.
