About Victoria
I believe that a critical purpose of education is teaching students how to become independent, concept-oriented learners. I use subject material to encourage students to problem-solve and think abstractly, giving them tools to be successful both academically and professionally.
Helping students connect with a challenging idea on a conceptual level is my highest joy as a teacher!
I am a graduate student in linguistics with two years of academic teaching experience and strong standardized test scores in English language and literature, verbal reasoning, and writing. I'd love to help you or your child excel in class and/or on the PSAT, SAT, ACT, AP Language, or AP Literature exam!
