About Jessica

I started my own business teaching Reiki energy healing and began teaching Reiki healing to children and adults. Later I began working at a private school and teaching middle-school and high-school students.

I graduated from the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science, an early college entry program at the University of North Texas. I have a bachelor's in history and another in journalism from Boston University. I also have a master's in history from the University of Texas at Dallas.

About the lesson

I always start out by getting to know the student and by setting goals together. Then we will move forward at the pace that's right just for them. I will include plenty of time for practicing and asking questions, and I aim to make learning fun.

I have experience teaching a variety of students in a one-on-one setting. I have worked with students from elementary age through adult, and I have also worked with students with unique learning challenges, such as dyslexia and ADHD.

Aim to find a teacher whose personality and working style fit well with yours. Learning should be fun!

I enjoyed attending our school's graduation and hearing each student share his or her accomplishments. It was great knowing I helped contribute to their life in a positive way.
