About Elijah
I am a senior at Northwestern University. I attended an elite private high school in New York City, Trinity School, and am therefore especially familiar with competitive private school environments and the elite college application process.
At Northwestern, I have been recognized on the Dean's List for outstanding students 6 times, and boast a 3.88 GPA.
I am a dedicated student of History, a strong analytical writer, and have a passion for teaching that has been developed both through strengthening my friends' work and through paid work with studends aged 5 to 12. I am open to working with any age but am especially qualified to help high schoolers.

I place a high priority on understanding the students needs. I use the first portion of my first session with a student to review what they percieve as their strengths and weaknesses. Before each prelimenary session, I also ask to be sent a sample of work in order to provide feedback and gain an understanding of what might best serve the student in question.
From there, I either address the assignments that the student is requesting help with, or, in the case of a student seeking a fully personalized curriculum, I assign readings tailored to the student's expressed interests.
