About Eric
Hello! My name is Eric. I have taught ESL for almost 5 years to a very diverse groups of students including young adults, Master's and Ph.D. candidates, and adult learners in the United States; kindergarten and college students in China; and primary and middle school students in Honduras. As a language learner myself, I have experienced the stresses and the rewards of studying a foreign language. This has allowed me to empathize with my students and the struggles they experience while learning a new language.
I believe that a successful teacher must exhibit patience, adaptability, excellent interpersonal communication skills, an understanding of their students' cultural backgrounds, and an understanding of students' individual needs and learning styles. For a language instructor to be able to connect with their students on these levels will prove to be a successful environment for learning!

I love teaching a language becauce I can clearly see imporveoments in their understanding. As a teacher, there is no greater joy than observing a student's advancement.
After I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations, I spent a year in Beijing teaching English to order to increase my international experience. That is when I realized that I had a great interest in cultural and global issues and a love of teaching.
I have a Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), as well as 120-hour TEFL/TESOL/TESL Certification training.
