About Elizabeth
Hello! I am an adjunct professor and an academic coach at a local university. I am available for writing tutoring, either for high school, college, or college admissions application consulting & essays. I have been tutoring for many years and I love helping students realize they can indeed write!
When students come to me for help, and they believe they are completely unable to complete a writing task, and then after helping them, watching the lighbulb go off and their confidence explodes!
I fell in love with teaching while working in daycare in college. I then worked for many years in College Admissions and tutoring at night, and I loved helping high school and college-aged students so I switched to the Academics side of the University to teach full time.

I like to have an idea of what they are needing helping with before we meet so I can prepare and have some ideas going into our tutoring session. Then we can meet on zoom and get writing together!
I have experiece tutoring high school, college-aged, and adult students on their academic writing assignments. I have also worked with high school students - assisting them with their college applicaiton strategy and essay writing.
