I love helping in any way I can. Helping students piece and piece, and finally seeing them understand is the best feeling ever!!
I enjoy when my students feel comfortable enough to explain to me what specific problems they have in the subject, so that i can break it down for them! Having this moment, let's me know that I am doing great at a tutor and is able to help as much as I can! I want to see my students achieve understanding in the subject as well as passing the class that they are in!
I'm an elementary education with a minor in Japanese. I currently am working towards my k-12 for english major! I am very experienced with tutoring college students along with high/middle-school with English grammar/essays and Japanese beginner/intermediate!

My usual process with helping a new student, is getting them comfortable with me and letting me know what their problems pertaining to english! Once the problem is known, I carefully break down these problems and focus on each of them individually until it all becomes in one. For example: The student's problem is structuring an essay. I will break down the essay into 5 groups. Intro, Body, Conclusion, and works cited. During this process I will help the student understand each role that contributes to the essay until they understand how to complete it!

She was very helpful in teaching me grammar tips. I would definitely recommend if grammar is one of your weak points. She goes into depth on sentence structures and gives examples.
Ms.Debbie was super nice and understanding with my issues in grammar structure. I was taking English IV AP and she completely understood the assignments. She asked me plenty of questions and always told me to let her know if I had any problems along the way. She honestly helped me out tremendously for my English IV AP class, as it was super hard for me to understand.

I tend to my make pricing more on the cheaper side than usual. Mostly because I worked with college students and I know how hard it is financially. My pricing range usually goes from $15-$20 an hour.
