About Christen
I have a passion and love for English. I want people to love English as much as I love the subject. English can be fun and interesting when taught right, and teaching English through a culturally revelent Lens will make more and more people love English.
As an African-American teacher, I have people just shrug of English because it is interesting to them, so to tie in culture that is relevant to the student will heighten their excitement for the subject.
I am Denver based educator with 4 years experience of teaching and I am currently a Youth creative writing and video production teacher.
