About Brayan
I am a recent graduate from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Biochemistry and a minor in Entrepreneurship. I enjoy tutoring as I've done it since high school with the neighborhood kids and more recently, with high school students. Working with me is extremely flexible as I understand everyone has a life outside of school and work. Getting to the root of the problem a student faces is important and I try my best to identify that issue. I check up with parents biweekly and try to give a rundown on the student's progress, etc. This includes if more or less tutoring is needed. I enjoy teaching other people, no matter their age, and the ultimate goal is to succeed!
I loved teaching my younger sisters and I realized I could do this as a part-time job. As summer approached, I do want to take this seriously and make it a full-time job. I want my students to know I'm dedicated to them and their studies.
I graduated Salutatorian from Dayton High School Class of 2019. I worked hard to get to where I am, and my devotion to school shows that. I am currently a student at the University of Texas at Austin studying Biochemistry. This will further help me reach my goals of becoming a doctor.

I take the first day to talk to them as regular people. I want to build a relationship with them first, and then get into school. It's essential for the student to trust you first, which is why getting to know them is a big part of the job.
I have worked with students all ages, mostly elementary and high schoolers.
I would advise the student to choose a teacher that is available for them and won't put them off to the side. All I ever wanted was for a student to receive the best teacher possible, and I hope I can be that teacher.

Details
We can work out pricing from a variety of factors. The age of the student, the subject, and the amount of tutoring needed. I do start at 20 per hour, for a minimum of one hour - this is for elementary students K-2. The minimum increases with grade, age, and more complex subjects. There is also a group special, but private message me for that!
