About Devon
With a focus on effective pedagogy and edutainment, tutoring doesn't have to be a time you or your student dreads. We can use the most effective ways to learn and embed learning in fun to better build our understanding of our learning topics.
AVAILABILITY:
I am largely available in a distraction-free environment in the evenings from 6-7pm & 9-10pm and on weekends.
I could be available at some other times for a less-formal sessions that may involve interruption due to young children at a 50% discounted hourly rate.
I work in education because I love helping students and watching the moments when they experience realizations and growth. It's honor to be a support system to help them get there.
I've been teaching as long as I can remember. My siblings were my first (reluctant) students. Now much of my teaching centers around self-exploration, life skills, and leadership courses for college-age students, but I am happy to support any age in their desire to better understand what they're trying to learn.
