About Christina

I provide personalized tutoring based on your child's interests and needs. Many of the resources I use are available only to employed education professionals. I always use music and laughter to motivate your child and spark their interest in learning!

Children are my most favorite people to be around! Watching a child struggle and then have that "A-HA!" moment truly makes my heart happy!

I have a B.A. in Elementary Education from Columbia College (Columbia, SC). I've taught various grades in the public school system since 2007 (2nd grade - 8th grade). I have taught both in person and virtually. I also have 3 years experience teaching English to students in China online.

About the lesson

I will assess a new student's strengths and weaknesses before diving into tutoring. As I feel a student is improving, I will re-assess and move on to more difficult material. Assessment is given in atypical ways (not boring tests). As a child progesses, I raise the bar to encourage even more growth.
