About Lalita
I am a retired professor, highly experienced in teaching and tutoring students. I am very passionate about teaching and willing to do everything I can to help my students be successful.
I have taught Kindergarten to Twelfth Grade for many years. I have taught at the college level for 25 years.
I believe you will receive the highest quality of tutoring from me for a very reasonable price.
I enjoy interacting with students - young and old. I build relationships with them easily, and can thus help them.
I have completed my Bachelors, Masters and Ph.D. in Education. I have a number of years of experiencce. I have also trained in using the skills and practices of mindfulness to help children learn.

It is well documented that learning occurs when we build relationships with our students. Hence, I like to get to know my students and build a relationship with them at the very beginning. After that I try to find out what they need, their strengths and challenges.
Once the relationships have been established, I use their own strengths to help them learn. I have high expectations, but not unrealistic ones.
