About Laura
Laura, has a degree in Marketing. She has experience tutoring elementary and middle school children in basic skills (literacy, writing, and math) and pre- algebra. Her tutoring style is very unique, with a focus on developing the weaknesses of her students and helping them build confidence. Her lesson plans are always interactive and targeted to keep the student engaged and focused, no matter the subject matter.
Tutoring is a great way to help boost a student’s confidence. Whether that student is beginning elementary school or is an adult learner, there’s nothing more satisfying than watching the look of understanding pass across their face in a ginormous smile.
I have a Bachelors in Marketing from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I also have experience tutoring elementary and middle school children in basic skills (literacy, writing and math) and pre algebra.
