About Elisabeth

I have been a family tutor for my little sister, who is now 13, and little brother, who is now 7. I made tutoring fun for her when she started to get homework at the age of 6 and still helped her with concepts that were confusing for her to understand from her teachers.

For my brother is the same, I made studying vocaburary fun for him and retained some of the words for his tests. I explained math concepts that are easy to understand in his level such as the fundumental concepts of addition and subtraction.

I edit and give my extenstive feedback on my friends' college essays papers on flow, grammar, word choices, and proofreading.

About the lesson

Asking them how they are in school, stories about their friends, or anything happening in school or their day. Then we can ease in on doing homework if they want. If they don't, then sometimes I would impersonate the items of their school work to start. I would give them 5 minute breaks for every 30 minutes of work or negotiate on ratio on work/break.
