About Megan
Hi future students! My name is Megan and I am passionate about working with children and adults to achieve their goals. I have 10+ years of experience with teaching and tutoring a variety of age groups across a range of subjects, including: SAT prep, ACT prep, college essay writing, English, Math, and Economics. I have worked with students from ages 3-25 as a teacher and occupational therapist. I just received my doctorate in occupational therapy from Boston University in the fall, and especially enjoy working with students with disabilities. In 2008, I graduated from Duke University with an economics degree. In between, I spent many years teaching and tutoring both in Boston and internationally. I then spent 4 years working as an SAT/ACT tutor for StudyPoint during graduate school.
Besides teaching and tutoring, I love playing with my dogs, hiking, and traveling.

First, we will set up an initial session at no cost, to discuss strengths and areas of improvement, and set goals. Next, we will arrange for a regular meeting schedule, depending on your preference and both of our availability. We can adjust the schedule on an ongoing basis as needed. If you are a younger student (under 18), I will check in with your parents after each session, with an email summarizing what we did during the session and any work to be completed before the next session.
