About Troy
Hey there! Welcome to Drum Learning Systems in the Greater Rochester, NY area! I'm here to help you or your child master the art of drumming, whether it's on the drum set, djembe, or xylophone. With personalized lessons tailored to your musical goals, I'll make sure you have fun while learning essential techniques and rhythms. Let's make some noise and take your drumming skills to the next level! I accept students for lessons at my Livonia and Rochester studio locations, remotely or at their home within a certain radius from Honeoye, NY.
Teach drums and percussion at Jamestown Community College since 2005. Currently teaching all classes remotely via Zoom.

Before I take on new students, I offer a FREE trial session to meet the student along with the parent(s) if the student is a minor. This session is to ensure we are all on the same page as to what is expected of everyone and to see if we are a good match for the learning process to be successful. We will discuss required materials and instrument for learning during this session.
