About Kevin
I have a drum room at the Music Garage in Chicago, the premere music practice facility in Chicago (near Lake and Ogden). I also give lessons online.
We will learn the songs you wish to learn, we will gain the rudiments you wish to lear, we will listen, read, jam, funkify it, and smooth it out, so you sound great. I all about you sounding great.
I love students finding their sound. I love checking out my students shows. I love being a part of my students growth.
I have been teaching for a number of years. It's just something I've always done.

About the lesson

With new students, we learn songs they wish to learn. While doing so, we dig into technique that make their favorite songs great.
As we progress, I push students to explore new types of music and incorporate elements from various music styles into their playing.
I have worked with students of all ages and abilities. A good majority of my students are in working bands wanting keep their chops up and explore new areas. Most of my students are elementary or high school students who really love playing and have dreams of being on stage.
I only teach one kind of student -- the enthusastic ones :)
Approach drums honestly. Don't be affraid if you don't have all the skills. Those will come. And if you think you have all the skills, why would you want lessons? ... I'll tell you why.. Because we call can improve!

I charge $60 per hour; $45 per half hour.
If there is an economic hardship, I cut rates, as music should be for all.
