About Crystal
By chance actually, I am a natural is what I've been told on numerous occasions. That statement is usually followed up by, "Why aren't you a teacher?". My response is that I enjoy the creative freedom of being a freelance artist. I would rather offer my services to those in need and be able to do so in a way that is most condusive to the individual, and not a curriculum
I am self-taught firstly, but I have completed basic college level art classes with high marks. I also worked with a sip& paint company, teaching inibriated adults how to complete a beginners level acrylic painting on canvas. I continue to offer this service as my own entity in the present.

Usually with a conversation about what they want to accomplish and where they think they need to improve at. I let the student try a lesson and then we build from there. It is usually a simple lesson but will vary depending on students comfort level.
Literally all kinds. I have taught painting/crafting corporate events, baby showers, date night, church events, etc. I enjoy teaching children more as they are open to new ideas and I enjoy seeing a love for art light up their eyes.
I would say, that art is fun. If you do not wish to have fun with art then I may not be the teacher for you. I believe in the spirit of art and what it can do for your heart and soul, not the rules of what is and is not art.
i recently hosted a childrens free painting event at a local church. I allowed the children to paint whatever they wanted. The lesson here was not for the children, but mostly for the parents, to allow their children freedom to express themselves in their own way, and not according to predetermined rules.

Details
I assign myself slightly over minimum wage and set the price according to the amount of time I think the activity will require. In some instances, the price per hour could also vary, depending on how intensive the activity is as well as my level of knowledge of the subject matter.
