About Shawn
I have my PhD in Art Education, and have been teaching both children and adults for more than 35 years in Georgia. We teach all levels and many different techniques! Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and visit (concealed information) for our current list of classes!
I've got a PhD in Art Education from Florida State University and have worked in the public school system for more than 30 years. I have also traveled abroad to learn painting techniques as well as the process of art restoration.

We encourage new students to choose their own subjects in order to keep them engaged throughout the creative process. We introduce the basics of supplies, color theory and design as students work at their own pace. We provide guidance and assistance, but we also encourage students to work independently to develop confidence in their skills.
