About Karen
As a professional working artist and art educator, I have a passion for helping students discover their own potential and creativity. Each student is unique learner and their are as many ways to help unlock individual expession as there are students. I believe in teaching real techniques, that are useful and taking the mystery out of creating art, in a stressfree, fun learning environment.
I live for doing my own art! It is the joy and essence of my own heart. I love to inspire others to create their own hearts desires and help them see that nothing is beyond their capacity to learn or create their own masterpieces. Just imagine!

My goal is to make it fun and easy for every student to learn and to demysitfy art creation at whatever level they are currently at. I introduce new techniques and develop the student's individual skill level so that each student can gain confidence in their own creations, all while having fun in a relaxed, stress free setting. The 90 minute classes are typically one on one, or a small group (2 or 3) of friends you would like to share a class with. All supplies are provided by me, but if you have a set of paints you are fond of, or a particular canvas size, you are always welcome to bring them. Hours are varied and by appointment.
