About Debbee
I offer private and small group evening art lessons based on the interests of each student including drawing, watercolor and acrylic painting. Students Can bring their own supplies or use what I have available. I am a full time art teacher during the day. Lessons can be scheduled on a week by week basis on Monday or Friday evenings. I have taught art for 36 years, the past 19 years in New Hampshire.
I started teaching in 1983 in Buffalo New York then in New Hampshire in 1999.
I have a bachelors degree in art education and have been teaching art for 36 years.

I like to find out more about each student's interests and goals for their art studio experience.
I began my teaching career working with emotionally disturbed pre schoolers at children's hospital in Buffalo New York , the taught high school at private and public schools in the Buffalo area. While raising my family I taught continuing education classes for children and adults. After moving to New Hampshire I started teaching home school students and for the past 11 years I have been teaching art full time for grades 6 -12 while offering small group lessons through the Center for the Arts in New London in the summer.

I enjoy attending the Sunapee craft fair each year to talk to artisans about their work and process. I visited the Van Gogh exhibition at the Michele and Donald D’Amour Museum of Fine Arts this past summer and enjoy going to openings at the Library Arts center in Newport and the AVA gallery in Lebanon NH.
