I did an adult painting class with my family members at Art Studio 315. Janet was very patient with several “perfectionists” in our bunch. We not only had fun, but also learned a few new art techniques and our confidence in our ability to create art was boosted.

Janet really inspires my kids to be creative. She always shows them multiple ways to draw the picture and encourages them to try new techniques. My daughter struggles with being a perfectionist, and Janet shows her that even when she makes a mistake, she can incorporate it into her art to make it unique. She also adds in math concepts and cultural lessons. Janet is a true teacher. She really sees each kid for who they are, and she makes them feel special. My daughter is doing individual lessons with Janet and my son is doing group classes. I recommend both types of classes. It really is more than an art class. I feel it helps complete their education, especially right now with the school closures.
