About Kristi

I enjoy working with children in fourth grade through twelfth grade. I also work with adults ages 18 and up.

I am available to instruct homeschool groups.

I have a Bachelor Degree in K-12 Art Education and I'm also a Nationally Board Certified Teacher in Early Adolescence through Young Adulthood Art.

I am a Senior Level instructor with Art Clay World, USA and I can teach jewelry making using metal clay which requires it to be torch fired, stovetop fired, and kiln fired.

I am willing to teach drawing, painting, or jewelry making lessons to motivated learners.

I started teaching art in Las Vegas Nevada twenty-seven years ago.

About the lesson

I like to understand what a student knows and what they want to learn before I agree to work with them.

I have taught elementary art and secondary art for my entire life.

Find a teacher and take a lesson from him/her. If you enjoyed it, tell the teacher why you liked the lesson. If you didn't like it, tell the teacher why you didn't like the lesson. Try the teacher again. First meetings can be awkward. Give the teacher a second chance, and if you still aren't feeling happy, look for another teacher to compare them with. Shop around to find what works for you.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
You need to be able to tell the teacher what you know and what you want to learn. Having clearly defined objectives for your lessons benefits you and the teacher.

$50.00 an hour non-refundable 24 hour notice for cancellations required or a $20.00 service fee will apply.
