About Kris
I have been oil painting since I was 11 years old. I studied Painting at Columbia College Chicago before doing two masters degrees in Philosophy. I am currently a Phd candidate in Philosophy with an active studio practice. I exhibit my paintings regularly and present original research at conferences around the world. I have 7 years of experience teaching people of all ages and skill levels painting and visual art. Currently, I am a Teaching Artist at SkyART providing intensive courses to teenagers aged 14-24.
I love teaching. I love providing guidance to individuals on how to best convey their vision, voice and style.
