About Rob
I host a creative environment for learning in a Fine Art gallery with white walls to show of the artworks on display. I am a lifelong artist with formal training in Fine Art, Illustration and the Art of Tattoo. It would be my pleasure to help you gain the ability to use the materials of your choosing in order to unleash your inner creativity as well as assisting you to learn the discipline required to broaden your inherent creative thought process.
I was driven naturally towards creating artwork since I was very young and attended an Art based High School called Rosa Parks High School of Fine and Performing Art for which I had to develop a portfolio of work and be selected through an audition process. From there I spend the first year studying foundation of Art. In the following years I double majored in both Fine Art and Commercial Art and was granted the privilege of working with all materials a year ahead of my classmates. Between my junior and senior years I was accepted into a pre-college program at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. There, while living on campus I spent my mornings studying foundations of art and my afternoons studying my Illustration. Upon graduating High School, I was accepted into Pratt’s school of professional studies In Manhattan and graduated with honors. Since then I have practiced a variety of artistic skills including but not limited to, abstract art and the art of tattoo. I have worked steadily as a Tattoo and fine artist for the last nine years.

Everything begins with a solid foundation. First I will assess the students ability level as well as what their creative goals are. From there we will be able to build upon their strengths and improve upon their weaknesses in a way that will help them grow towards their desired goals. This includes promoting the understanding of the materials, techniques and terminology as well as developing the necessary discipline to use them.

Details
I charge $25.00 for a one hour session or $40.00 for a two hour session. Students are required to obtain materials (costs for materials will vary depending on the medium the student chooses)
