About Michael
I got started teaching because my minor is in Art Therapy and I was doing art as therapy in different settings.
My formal training comes from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia and I’m also an accomplished painter. I have several solo shows a year and I have commissions always lined up. I volunteer as an art instructor at The Baltimore Station.

I tell my students to come in with something in mind to paint. I’ll Then help them get their ideas on the canvas. I’ll instruct them as we continue our classes and the painting comes alone.
