It is with deep appreciation I wish to write this review for Alexander. The world of Ballroom with Alexander is an amazing place. I wish I would have known about Ballroom Dance decades ago. Alexander is a phenomenal teacher. He is incredibly patient, extremely talented, so caring, and a true gentleman in the studio and on the competitive dance floor. Every lesson, Alexander brings enthusiasm and optimism to the studio. Alexander has an innate ability to motivate each of his students to reach beyond their personal goals for dancing. His knowledge and experience inspires all his students to give more. No worries if you have insecurities about dancing, Alexander will be patient and work with you. To enhance a student's understanding of a step or concept, Alexander has been known to reach quickly for a secret "tool" from his toolbox, or dash for an innovative prop that he produces on the spot, or sketch a drawing, or give an interesting and amusing analogy; all in the pursuit of having his student leave with a clearer understanding of the lesson. I left each lesson with a sense of accomplishment, more confidence, more love for dance, and always looking forward to my next lesson. Alexander never stops trying to help his students. His passion for dance and teaching are evident; he wants his students to succeed. Everyone needs a passion; Ballroom is mine.
