About Aurek
I have always enjoyed helping other students out and am very passionate about my subject. Throughout my academic career, I have helped other students with computer science material--either as a tutor or informally. After starting my PhD at the University of Cincinnati, I have started working as a TA and have taught classes and helped many students. I hope to become a professor so that I can continue doing what I enjoy.
Since I am passionate about computer science, it gives me great satisfaction to be able to help other students who may be struggling or want to further their knowledge in the subject. Since I may have gone through similar lapses in knowledge or lack of understanding in the past, it makes me feel good to help others overcome these! I like being able to figure out how to present the material in a very accessible format and break everything down into simple parts anyone can understand.
I am currently doing a PhD in computer science at the University of Cincinnati. I attended NIT Rourkela in India which is among the most prestigious schools in the country. In addition, I have done many computer science research internships abroad.
