About Liana

Liana recently was a part time Nanny for a family of 4. She mostly did remote learning and house chores that included getting snacks ready, making lunch, doing the dishes and laundry as well as cleaning around the house. This past year Liana was a nanny for a family in Durham, North Carolina while being a gymnastics coach at, Bull City Gymnastics. Liana is a guest artist with Ballet Eddy Toussaint while taking a semester off and transferring schools to the University of Texas at Austin. She earned a full scholarship to Jacksonville University for dance. She has performed Dew Drop and Snow Queen for the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestras production of the “First Coast Nutcracker”. Liana has taught ballet for several years and developed and instructed “RhythMix”, a stretch and conditioning class for athletes. A native of Belarus, Liana trained in Rhythmic Gymnastics with Mila Marinova in Jacksonville Florida. Honored to be selected as a member of USAGymnastics Rhythmic Elite Squad, Liana received coaching at the US Olympic Training Centers in Lake Placid, Colorado Springs, and Houston. A state, Regional, National and International competitor, Liana achieved USAG rhythmic Instructor and Safety Certification in 2014, and has announced and presented at National Rhythmic Championships. Early ballet training was with Dulce Anaya and the Florida Ballet Conservatory, test/level by American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum. At Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, Liana auditioned into Dance Theatre in her Freshman year, trained with Rhonda Stampalia, and was awarded, “Future Star”, “Outstanding Ballet Dancer”, “Outstanding Ballet Variations”, and the “Bravo” award. National and International Dance Intensives offered Liana and opportunity to work with Julie Kent, Suzanne Farrell, Dwight Rhoden, Desmond Richardson and Alonso King, among others, and include ABT New York, Lines Ballet, BalletX and The Royal Ballet, where she received a Certificate of Commendation from Gailene Stock.

I am an Education major at the University of texas at Austin. I have tutored and helped out with remote learning recently.

About the lesson

Get to know the student is a must. Making sure they are comfortable around me and ready to learn! I do like to get to know my students and try to make things fun but learning!
