About George
I'm a lifelong learner with a passion for science and technology. I also have a background in economics and political science, which are subjects that have an immense interest in. I hold a Biology degree with a focus on pre-med courses from UC Davis, where I graduated in 2019.
I've tutored students in Evolutionary Biology and have taught a Biology laboratory class of undergraduate students at UC Davis. I excelled at my courses in general chemistry/biology, physiology, environmental sciences, and plant sciences.

I love sharing my knowledge with others and leveraging this ability to help them achieve their academic and professional goals.
I tutored at UC Davis for an evolutionary biology class. I found myself interested in teaching students so I registered for a teaching course and signed up to teach an undergraduate Biology lab course along with a graduate student.

I've mostly focused on working with college students in a relatively structured setting. I'm pretty open and flexibile when it comes to working with students from different backgrounds and differing interest levels of a subject.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Seek to understand concepts as they apply to problems. Taking the shortcut just to answer a simple question does nothing to enhance your understanding of how something works, which is the true purpose of education. Menial memorization is boring and largely irrelevant.
