About Suzanna

My name is Suzanna Schofield. My wish is to help you in any way I can. I know subjects can be a bit daunting. I just want to offer a helping hand.

I have taken a multitude of AP classes, and have scored highly on the tests. I have taken AP Psychology, AP Human Geography, AP Microeconomics, AP US Government and Politics, AP World History, AP Biology, AP Environmental Science, AP Language and Composition, AP Literature and Composition, AP European History, AP Chemistry, AP Calculus AB, AP US History, and AP Statistics. I have also taken university courses in Anthropology, Philosophy, Personal Finance, Oceanography, and Meteorology. Beyond these, I have taken many other classes

I have been tutoring others for almost ten years. I was the valedictorian of my high school, and I will be attending one of the best liberal arts colleges in the United States. I will be triple majoring in anthropology, environmental studies, and biology.

I have always had a passion for learning and school, so ever since a young age, I have been tutoring. In fact, it was my first job.

About the lesson

I want to get to know you. Every person learns differently, and I want to work in such a way that you benefit.

I won’t give up until you know the topic.

I have worked with students as young as five and old as eighteen. I have helped students no matter their needs, if it be they have trouble concentrating, understanding, or maybe just need a little bit more encouragement.

Learn to love the subject. Even if it’s boring, find just something about it that makes it seem appealing. Once you become at least a tiny bit passionate, your grade will go up. It’s all about finding the right encouragement.

I was helping a student recently with a Spanish assignment. He was struggling in the class, and so I helped me catch up. I also encouraged him to get his grade up. For the rest of the year, he would come to me and tell me his grade. He brought up his grade from an F to a B. I was so proud of him.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Before you go to a teacher, try and work it out yourself. If you get stuck, make sure to ask, but try and make the question as specific as possible.
