About Michael
I have 20 years of experience in life sciences and biochemistry. I have taught graduate, undergraduate and high school science. My current teaching includes Chemistry, AP Biology, Genetics and Biotechnology at the high school level. I am looking to take a very small number of high school students for prep for AP Chem, AP Bio tests, SAT subject tests and general help with chemistry or biology. I am currently a high school teacher and have a strong working knowledge of the subject material and exam requirements.
After earning a B.A. in Biology from U of Michigan, and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Georgia, I had a career as a research scientist, including a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. Eight years ago, I decided to go into teaching full time. I am currently a full time science teacher at a local private school.
